THE BLAST
 IN WEST, TX.

On April 17, 2013, disaster struck a chemical storage facility in the town of West, Texas, leaving 15 people dead, 160 injured, and more than 150 buildings damaged or destroyed. The incident highlighted the need for clear safety precautions in the handling and storage of dangerous chemicals.
